Bimdeals Launches Travel Insurance

Bimadeals launches travel insurance comparison for its customers. Our first wave constitutes overseas travel insurance launch; we will gradually move toward domestic travel insurance. Customers will receive a check-list to facilitate comparison.

It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of travel insurance comparison @ BimaDeals.com. As you are already aware, BimaDeals has pioneered the concept of online comparison in the insurance sector in India.

In the past year, we have not only found the specific requirements of customers in their search for life and health insurance but also designed solutions which address such unique requirements, as the IVR channel for health insurance, life insurance comparison charts, etc.

Travel insurance will be launched in three phases:

Phase 1: We would start with a simple lead-generation model for overseas travel, where customer requirements would be captured, filtered and passed on to the four insurers on our network. At our end, we would also educate the customer about which parameters to compare the policy on.

Phase 2: We would integrate the pricing and policy features on BimaDeals and show a live online comparison, aided by online chat support. This would lead to a cut in decision-making time and increased conversions for our partners.

Phase 3: Venture into domestic travel insurance and add other channels for increasing the customer footprint.
